Impact Details
Technology and Digital Solutions (TDS) will conduct a Network Access Switch Refresh at 430 Broadway (Pavilion C), 440 Broadway (Pavilion B), and 450 Broadway (Pavilion A).
The project will run from Saturday, January 17, 2026, through Monday, June 8, 2026, with work occurring daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
This work is part of a systemwide effort to improve security protocols across all SHC locations.
The project continues the Network Access Switch Refresh completed in 2019 for the same locations.
In this phase, TDS will upgrade the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for all devices connected to the network and implement a micro‑segmentation security approach.
An IP address is similar to a home address for a device on a network, allowing it to send and receive information.
Micro‑segmentation is a security method that divides a network into small, isolated segments to improve protection and enforce strict access control.
Work will begin in 430 Broadway, Pavilion C, and then continue into 440 Broadway, Pavilion B, and 450 Broadway, Pavilion A.

Minimal to no impact is expected for patients, visitors, or staff because the work will be contained to the independent distribution frame rooms.
For clinics open on Saturdays, TDS will coordinate an adjusted schedule to avoid any impact to patient care.
Clinic and office business leaders have designated end‑users familiar with critical clinical applications and workflows to assist with functionality testing during the project.
The project team will collaborate with SHC business units, application owners, and end‑users to validate all necessary functions after equipment upgrades.
